So, I finally jumped on the Keto bandwagon. I found an amazing recipe and I just had to try it. Of course, I had to be extra and just add a little of my own flair to it by creating a lox version and an avo bacon version! I tried peanut butter, but it just did not complement the savory goodness.
Keto Everything Bagels
1/2 c shredded cheddar
1/2 c shredded mozzarella
1/2 c grated parmesan
2 eggs beaten
1 tbsp everything bagel topping
1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Combine the shredded cheese and egg in a bowl and mix it until the ingredients are fully combined.
3. Divide the mixture equally into six parts and press into well greased donut pan.
4. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning over the tops of the egg and cheese mixture.
5. Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese has fully melted and created a slight brown crust
Option 1: Salmon and Cream Cheese Lox- add sliced salmon and whipped cream cheese
Option 2: Avo and Bacon- Bake thick cut bacon at 400 for 20 minutes. Top bagel with whipped cream cheese, sliced avocado or avo spread, and bacon.
